Join a Care first wellbeing webinar this March

Care first is available 24/7 to offer support, advice and counselling on any personal or workplace related issues, as well as a regular programme of webinars open to all staff and students. 

No matter how small or big the problem, Care first counsellors are available to you. All Care first counsellors are professionally qualified and accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

The following Care first webinars are open to all University of Wolverhampton members (staff and students) though some may be of greater relevance to staff. See descriptions below. 

Sessions run from 12 noon-12.30pm, unless otherwise stated.

Monday 4 March - Service Awareness: Care first Management and MHFA Support

This webinar provides an overview of the support available through the EAP for managers and Mental Health First Aiders of organisations.   Register here.

Wednesday 6 March - Care First Awareness: How Care first can support you

A webinar to raise awareness of the service and information on how to access the EAP support provided by Care first.  Register here

Friday 8 March - Mental Health: International Women's Day

In line with this year’s theme 'Inspire Inclusion', this webinar discusses inspiring others to understand and value women's inclusions, and the impact and importance of International Women's Day on our mental health. Register here.

Monday 11 March - Service Awareness: What to expect when you call Care first

This webinar provides an overview of what you can expect when making a call to the counselling help line provided by Care first. Register here.

Wednesday 13 March - World Sleep Day: Sleep and Anxiety, in line with World Sleep Day

A webinar detailing how a lack of sleep can create anxiety and what changes you can try to positively reduce the impact this has on your general wellbeing. Register here.

Friday 15 March - Care First Awareness: How Care first can support you 

A webinar to raise awareness of the service and information on how to access the EAP support provided by Care first. Register here.

Don't worry if you can not join a session live. You can access recordings from the registration link after the session.

  • Students can access wellbeing support through our WLV Student Life Connect platform, as well as wider support and advice available from the University at wlv.ac.uk/mhw
  • Staff can find out more about Care first support offered through the Employee Assistance Programme on the HR Wellbeing Hub.
