The fees shown are for a full course or 180 or 200 credits - the equivalent of a full-time master's. Courses that fall below this credit amount, such as full-time postgraduate certificates and diplomas will be charged on a pro rata basis.
Students on a 3 year taught/professional doctorate study 540 credits. Fees will be charged at 180 credits per year full-time within the tiered fee structure above.
Part-time study in 2024/25
Postgraduate 'Home' part-time taught fees are charged pro rata based on the rates given above. For example a tier 1 course studied over 2 years will cost £4,408 for 90 credits or £2,939 for 60 credits if studied over 3 years. Please note: fees in subsequent years may be subject to an inflationary increase.
How many credits will I study on my course?
- a student on a 180 credits Master's course will be charged the equivalent of 90 credits per year if studying the course over 2 years
- a student on a 120 credit PG Diploma will be charged the equivalent of 60 credits per year if studying the course over 2 years
- a student on a year-long course (e.g. a 60 credit PG Cert or a 20 credit stand-alone module) will be charged the full course fee listed on the course page
- a student on a 3 year taught/professional doctorate studies a total of 540 credits over the whole course. Fees will be charged at 90 credits per year part-time, within the tiered fee structure above.
Loyalty discount
University of Wolverhampton UK 'home' students and alumni can enjoy a 20% discount deducted from the total fee of a taught postgraduate on campus programme (if their undergraduate degree was completed at the University). For online courses the discount is 10%. This should automatically be applied at enrolment as long as they keep the same student number. The discount applies to most Master's degrees, postgraduate certificates and postgraduate diplomas. However, PGCE, Master's courses leading to Nursing and Allied Health Professions registration, M.Arch, CIM qualifications, standalone modules and Integrated Master's awards are not eligible.
