Graduates set to be celebrated at University graduations

The University of Wolverhampton is all set to celebrate the achievements of more than 1,400 students, part of the Class of 2024, at our latest graduation ceremonies.

The University’s graduation ceremonies are taking place on Thursday 23 January and Friday January 2025. Around 1,450 students have confirmed their attendance at four ceremonies at University of Wolverhampton at The Halls.

The students will join a community of over 150,000 graduates in 130 countries across the world, becoming part of the University’s global alumni network.

The University will also be celebrating the achievements of two Honorary Graduates, including: Catriona Roberts and Mark Perlic. Catriona has been recognised for her inspiring work at the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra. Mark, Welfare Rights Principal Officer at the City of Wolverhampton Council, has been recognised for his continuous support in helping University of Wolverhampton students gain work experience in the legal field enabling them to enhance their employability skills.

Both Catriona and Mark will be awarded Honorary Fellowships.

Professor Ebrahim Adia, Vice-Chancellor at the University, said: “We’re all absolutely delighted to welcome the Class of 2025 back onto Campus to celebrate with them as they graduate.

“Graduation is always an exciting time for the University and the city, as it turns into a sea of caps and gowns with students and staff proudly visible on the streets.

“Our graduation ceremonies mark a major milestone in the lives of our students; the culmination of years of dedication and passion for their chosen studies. Every one of our graduates, along with all of those who have helped them along the path to this moment should feel rightly proud.”
