Christmas Update: Library service is still here over Christmas

10/11/2020
christmas update

Your Library Service is still here over Christmas for drop-in study spaces and 24/7 ASSIST chat!

Whilst some of our services will pause over the Christmas period, you can still come in and grab a study space, use a PC and do some printing, or get access to remote library support. Things on campus might work slightly differently so we’ve outlined the changes below.

Recalls & Requests

Over the Christmas period, there will be no recalls or fines on books or laptops. Books will continue to renew as usual and laptop due dates have been extended until the first week of January.

New requests for books, Inter-Library Loans and Laptops are now paused until 4th January.

Study Spaces

During the Christmas period, you will not need to pre-book a space. Staff will allocate a space for you upon arrival. Please ensure you have the NHS Track & Trace app before arrival, you will be required to ‘check-in’ to the libraries. Hot drinks & snacks will be available in the library!
