Pandemic affects Early Years Educator students' 'licence to practice’

This week, it was announced that there will be a ‘knowledge only’ version of the EYE pathway awarded by NCFE CACHE to enable learner progression.

Whilst the awarding bodies may have their own suggestions for progression; the University would like to reassure students interested in Early Childhood Studies degrees that they may be able to gain this licence to practice during their degree alongside the ECS Graduate Practitioner Competencies.

The University of Wolverhampton is a member of the Early Childhood Studies Degree Network (ECSDN), and this allows us to offer the Early Childhood Graduate Practitioner Competencies with Early Years Educator, though assessed work based practice alongside the degree.
