Cricket players wanted!

Are you a current student at the University of Wolverhampton and enjoy playing cricket?

WLV Sport is organising its annual cricket match against members of the local inter-faith community and is looking for players to add to their team. The match will likely be played at Walsall Cricket Club in August or September 2022. 

Intended as an annual event to celebrate and promote diversity and cohesion in the borough, the 20-over match was conceived as a fun way of networking and making new friends across cultural and religious boundaries. Previously, the University’s side saw staff and students, both current and former, join forces, whilst the Walsall for All team included members from various local religious groups.

Players will be given the opportunity to train and use facilities at Walsall Campus in the lead-up to the game to ensure plenty of practice before match day.
