Wolverhampton

The University of opportunity for students and staff

Our Vision - Based at campuses in Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Telford, and with education centres across the Midlands, our vision is to transform the leadership and workforce of our ‘place’ through inclusive student success and world-class research.

We seek to offer to all those who can benefit, a higher education experience that equips them to make a significant contribution to their communities as students and as graduates.

Our community - We welcome and celebrate the diversity of our University community, our alumni hail from over a hundred countries across the globe, and our staff networks and resources support gender, disability, race, and lifestyle.

All our campuses are student-focused, providing high-quality teaching in a friendly and supportive environment based in modern, state-of-the-art learning facilities.

We work closely with the city, business, the local community and our academic peers to empower our students and colleagues to have a great balance of academic achievement and work-life balance.

We offer professionally challenging and exciting opportunities for both academics and colleagues working in professional support roles.

Our city - One of the main reasons to consider moving to Wolverhampton is the people! We have a strong sense of community, partly due to their heritage as part of the ‘Black Country’, as well as Wolverhampton being very culturally diverse, with a thriving centre for arts and live entertainment.

Located right next to the M6 and M54 motorways, Wolverhampton is less than 20 miles from Birmingham, and only a 20-minute drive away from the Shropshire countryside. The city has excellent railway and transport links, and the station quarter is undergoing extensive development to improve services.
